Tala Nehlawi – A Story of Creation & Identity

Founded in 2017 in Toronto, the brand was born in a time of immense loss—a period when Syria was seen only through the lens of war. But Syria is more than destruction; it is beauty, depth, and an untold richness that the world needs to see.

Fashion became my medium—a way to redefine narratives and reclaim identity. Through runway shows, exhibits, and conversations, I wove the story of my homeland into every design, using form, movement, and craftsmanship to speak where words could not.

Each creation emerges from our atelier of skilled artisans and tailors, who bring the brand’s vision to life: structured designs that juxtapose playful & unexpected elements with classic silhouettes, seamlessly blending the old with the new. Defined by architectural influences, luxurious fabrics, and meticulous craftsmanship, every piece reflects an unwavering commitment to quality and artistry.
